
Etihad Cargo, the shipping arm and logistical services at Etihad Airways, has officially launched Smarttrack, a distinctive shipping vision service that enables customers to monitor their charge in the actual time.
It was revealed earlier this year at Air Cargo Europe 2025 in Munich, Smarttrack is now available to customers all over the world through Itihad Cargo on the web, making it the first air airline to grant advanced smart tracking technology in the market.
New standard
Smarttrack provides customers with an unprecedented charging view, providing live sites updates and monitoring status via the supply chain. Using cellular connection, GPS and Wi-Fi, the solution provides immediate alerts on temperature, humidity, shock, inclination and light, a greater reliability guarantee and proactive risk management.
For more customer support, Itihad Cargo has provided a dedicated center for Smarttrack Control around the clock throughout the week, providing direct cases tracking, setting the priorities of intensity -based alerts, and a work that can be implemented in actual time, repair and solution.
Besides the control center, Itihad Cargo has launched a new customer information panel, offering one and intuitive interface to monitor shipping. It can be accessed via Secure Sign-on via mobile and web platforms, the dashboard enables users to:
Tracking charges in actual time by AWB, origin, destination or product type
Monitor direct sensor data and receive pre -emptive SLA notifications
Access to the insights of the nursery chain that covers the treatment of goods before and after ethad
Receive immediate alerts on human delays and geo violations

Smarttrack’s launch was launched by intensive technician development in partnership with Tag-N-Trac. This included the synchronization of reservation data, the integration of sensor events and geographical alert to create a smooth experience for customers.
