- Nominations are open for the 2026 All-Women in Transport and Logistics Awards
- Now in its 19th year, the Everywoman Awards celebrate women driving change across the transport and logistics sector – from apprentices to senior-level leaders.
- With only 27% of the transport workforce and 20% of logistics roles held by women, the program aims to highlight female talent and inspire greater gender balance in a sector that is critical to the UK economy.
- This year’s awards also highlight innovation in the areas of automation, sustainability and entrepreneurship. The ceremony will take place on June 24, 2026 in London.
The search for pioneering women transforming the transport and logistics industry is underway, as nominations for the Every Woman Award in the Transport and Logistics Awards 2026 are now open. Women working in the sector at every career stage, from trainees to senior officials, have until January 26, 2026, to submit their entries.
Now in its nineteenth year, the awards highlight inspiring female talent by highlighting women who have broken barriers, contributed to progress, and inspired the next generation. By celebrating these exceptional role models, the program seeks to encourage more women to pursue careers in this sector. Women currently represent 27 percent of the transportation workforce of 2.5 million people and 20 percent of the two million people working in logistics and warehousing.
Despite encouraging progress in women’s representation in the transportation and logistics industry, true equality remains elusive. Women currently hold 36% of leadership roles in the transportation sector, up from 26% in 2023. While this indicates progress, many of these roles are still outside core transportation functions. In logistics services, only 11% of women in this sector hold leadership positions.
Wage inequality also remains a major challenge. Three in five transport organizations (59%) reported a gender pay gap of 11% or more this year, little changed from 60% in 2023. Even more worrying is that the proportion of employers without a formal plan to address this gap rose to 65% over the same period – a 20% increase on 2023 – highlighting the urgent need for continued commitment and accountability.
Combined, the logistics and transport sectors generate around £192.9 billion to the UK economy, and logistics alone employs more than 8% of the national workforce, underscoring the critical importance of this sector.
This year’s awards continue to reflect the changing priorities of the industry, with a focus on automation and sustainability, while also recognizing the growing number of visionary women forging their own paths in the industry through the Women Entrepreneur category.
Nicole Goodwin and Sophie Cato, joint managing directors of AllBright Everywoman, said:
“Transport and logistics are keeping the UK moving, but progress towards gender balance remains lagging. As technology reshapes the industry, success will depend on teams that harness a diverse range of skills, experiences and perspectives. Attracting and supporting more women at every level is essential to driving innovation and sustaining future growth.”
These awards celebrate exceptional women who are driving change, whose ideas, resilience and leadership are redefining what is possible, inspiring others in the sector and helping to build a stronger, more inclusive industry.
Entry to the awards is free, and the ceremony will welcome 500 industry leaders. The awards luncheon will be held on Wednesday 24 June 2026, at the Royal Lancaster Hotel London.
