Freightos (NASDAQ: CRGO), the leading global booking and payment platform for the international freight industry, today announced that Thai freight operator Pattaya Airways has joined forces with WebCargo through the Freightos platform, enabling freight forwarders to digitally book and pay for freight capacity across its Southeast Asia network in Pattaya.
Through this integration, freight forwarders on the platform gain digital access to Pattaya Air’s regional routes, connecting the major economic hubs of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Initially, bookings between Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City will be available, with plans to expand into Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos.
“Welcoming Pattaya Airlines to our platform is another step towards making global trade more seamless and responsive,” said Zvi Schreiber, CEO of Freightos. “As Thailand strengthens its position in global trade networks, instant digital access to regional shippers like Pattaya Airlines allows freight forwarders to build more responsive supply chains for their customers.” “For us, it’s not just about digital transformation, it’s also about keeping up with how freight actually moves today,” said Nat Punyavishkanont, CEO of Pattaya Airways Limited.
“Pattaya Airlines is proud to partner with WebCargo by Freightos to enhance the digital accessibility of air cargo across Southeast Asia. This partnership reinforces our commitment to providing faster booking capabilities, greater transparency and seamless regional connectivity to our customers. Today’s freight forwarders want to compare routes, book in minutes, pay for goods and keep their customers happy. Expanding our reach with WebCargo by Freightos allows us to meet them where they actually work – and that’s good for everyone, from small local shippers to big regional players.”
Thai Freighter Pattaya Airways joined Webcargo by Freightos for the first time at Air Cargo Week.
