Silk Way West Airlines has obtained an ISO 14001 certificate for the ECI system by the British Standards Corporation (BSI), which represents a landmark of the airline’s flight towards a greater environmental responsibility.
The internationally recognized certificate confirms the airline’s commitment to reduce its environmental impact by improving resource efficiency, pollution control, and climate conscious operations.
“This achievement enhances our business’s reputation and reflects our commitment to building strong confidence -based relationships with our customers, partners and organizations,” said Wolfgang Mayer, President of Silk Way West Airlines.
The implementation of ISO 14001 enhances the ability of West West airlines to meet regulatory standards, push operational efficiency, and include a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.
Based on this success, the airline plans to deepen its environmental strategy by launching internal sustainability programs, providing employee training, and taking more certificates such as ISO 50001 for energy management, as well as participating in global reporting frameworks such as GRI.
