Avolon, a leading aviation financing company, announces the appointment of Linda Hickey as an independent, non -executive director of its council, and chairman of the audit and bonuses. It replaces Dennis Naiden, who retires from Affolon’s painting.
Linda is a non -executive director of experienced, and she is currently the high independent director of Greencore Group Plc and Cairn Homes PLC. She is also an external member of the Investment Committee of the Irish Strategic Investment Fund, and is the sovereign investment fund of the Irish government. She recently retired as a senior manager of the Kingspan Group PLC group and was previously the head of the company’s mediation at SPROCHERS GoodBody. Linda has 30 years of experience working with global investors and has a busy record as an international capital market and corporate governance expert.
Dennis has been Vice President of Avolon since April 2016. He was also the president of Avolon from his institution in May 2010 to January 2016 and played an important role in supporting Avolon’s growth over the past fifteen years. He was a founding investor in the company and chairman through major landmarks, including the Avenon list on the New York Stock Exchange in 2014, and the subsequent privatization in 2015. He will continue to play a role as a strategic consultant for the Avenon Council and CEO.
