
The International Air Shipping Society (Tiaca) has announced the results of the seventh air freight sustainability awards, which are running in partnership with a cargosystems systems in the field of IT solutions. Prizes aim to identify distinguished companies and industry initiatives that seek to make air cargo more sustainable. There were two categories that were judged, one for small/small and second companies for companies and companies established.
The jury, which consists of six leaders of industry and sustainability champions, evaluated the presentations on a number of criteria, including influencing society and industry, ease of implementation, innovation and a WOW worker.
“The Austand Burugens program for the airport’s biological diversity is a really wonderful initiative that explains the strength of cooperation and community participation in achieving environmental goals. Their success is a testimony to what can be accomplished in air cargo when innovation meets being on our planet,” said Chris Makdirmot, CEO of Champ.
Ostendes Airport won the Biological Diversity Program, a project that raises the vast society’s participation through partnership with local governments, farmers and beehoppipes, and the stakeholders and increased environmental awareness throughout the region directly benefit. This joint initiative will allow residents and visitors to monitor directly restored habitats, which shows how wildlife conservation and airports operations can coexist in harmony while promoting local pride in biological diversity.
