The rapid rise in Dubai as a logistical power is not by chance. It is the result of strategic planning, innovation and axial partnerships. A concrete signal for growth in the region is the UAE Skycargo’s commitment to the expansion of the fleet and the growth of the network over the next few years.
“The next fiscal year, or the next two years, we expect multiple aircraft to be delivered, and we aim to operate a fleet consisting of 21 shipping companies allocated by December 2026,” Badr Abbas, Vice -President of the UAE Department Skycargo. “Therefore, it is expected that there will be 15 of the pioneers of shipping and transfers. This will double our ability, expand destinations, and support our leadership in logistical services, which will once again help facilitate global trade.”
This expansion is not only related to the addition of aircraft – it is related to building an expanded infrastructure and interconnection. “We aim to add 20 new destinations to our global shipping network. Copenhagen, as you know, was the first, and Narita was announced yesterday, which will start next month.”
It currently operates in 38 of the world’s charging destinations, the UAE Skycargo is only and displaying passengers. “We are planning to provide more flexibility by integrating our customized shipping companies with our wide range, which includes Boeing 777s, Boeing 777 Shipping, Boeing 747 Shipping, A350S, and A380S … unparalleled flexibility to move the goods quickly and efficiently around the world.”
A vision for a multimedia future
This ambitious network growth is one of the most important infrastructure projects in Dubai: the expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport.
“The expansion of the international airport airport in Dubai is also a long -term vision … to the world’s largest shipping center, which will be able to treat 12 million tons of goods annually from the current capacity we have,” Abbas pointed out. “Therefore, the UAE will grow and place Skycargo in the heart of world trade.”
This project is part of a broader major plan to make Dubai leading in the world the world’s multi -media logistics. He added: “You will also support the growth of the nearby logistics service, which will be a base for global shipping and shipping companies.”
Away from the mere response to the request, Abbas explained that the UAE plays a proactive role in forming the future. “We are not only meeting the request here. We are the formation of the future of air logistics services and remaining at the top of the competition.”
Cooperation in the heart
It lies one of the main discrimination in the ecological system of the Emirati Skycargo – a strong and cooperative structure between government agencies, airports and stakeholders from the private sector.
“Dubai has a strategic location … You can reach two thirds of the world’s population within an eight -hour trip,” Abbas confirmed. “The city also combines geographical advantage, global infrastructure, progressive policies, strong international partnerships and diplomatic relations.”
The institutional nature is added to this synergy through coordinated strategic initiatives. “Dubai Economic D33 agenda also aims to double foreign trade and add 400 cities to foreign trade map. The UAE is at Skycargo in a good position to take advantage of this growing opportunity for multimedia transport.”
It is this common ambition that drives the implementation of the project through the UAE’s infrastructure. “We are working closely with the government … to build the future airport. Therefore, all the requirements of the Emirates Skycargo to build this airport, as you know, this is done as one team, not isolated.”
This collective mentality carries its partners worldwide. “We have many handling partners, such as DNata … who support us with facilities and infrastructure in many markets we choose. They need to get enough space, and they should also be able to support us when we grow in those markets.”
Innovation, sustainability and digitization
Besides material infrastructure and aircraft acquisitions, the UAE gives Skycargo priority to innovation in digitization and environmental supervision.
“Sustainability is still in the heart of our mission,” Abbas stressed. “If you take our fuel -saving aircraft and innovative operations, which reduces our carbon fingerprint … We also have other initiatives such as moving to minus global coalition for 15 degrees. All these industry standards.”
Their environmental schedule includes more than just flight. “Also, the fight against illegal trafficking in wildlife … We recently signed a contract with a truck transport supplier to move to hydrogen trucks.”
Dirt, and also plays a transformational role. Abbas said: “Digital innovation transforms our industry … Our site is on the web and our presence on global platforms puts control and comfort directly in the hands of our customers.”
The results talk about themselves. “More than 65 percent of our digital reservations are now. This enhances productivity, which reduces handicraft burdens, and allow our teams to focus on complex shipments such as UAE precious things and pets.”
We look forward, Abbas sees the future in emerging technologies. “From artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and Blockchain is the future of logistical services, and we embrace them to revolutionize our operations-from the actual tracking to predictive analyzes and improved transparency.”
