Embraer, a leader in sustainable aviation (NYSE: EMBJ / B3: EMBJ3), reaffirms its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions during COP30, the 30th United Nations climate change conference – where the company will be present this weekend. Embraer is participating in three panel discussions on the official agenda in both the Blue and Green Zones, to discuss decarbonisation of aviation and sustainable development through education.
The company is represented in the discussions by Embraer’s ESG Head, André Tachard, who will be in Belém, Pará, on Saturday (15). The first session for CEOs is scheduled to take place at 12:30 pm in the Green Zone, and will address the topic “From PROBIOQAV to decarbonisation of the aviation sector”. Emission mitigation is also the main topic of the panel “Multiple solutions for decarbonisation in transport”, which will be held at 4:15 pm in the Blue Zone.
Synergies between academic research and industry will be explored in a panel discussion entitled “Innovative Universities – Connecting Universities and Businesses for Ecological Transformation”, scheduled to take place at 3:00pm in the Blue Zone. Embraer will share its long experience on this topic, from its founding – rooted in investments in education – to its current partnerships with research centres.
