Embraer joined the Polish New Mobility Society (PSNM). Along with PSNM, the company will work towards removing carbon from air transport, with a special focus on the regional sector, which is a major area for the development of low decrease in future.
Embraer’s cooperation with PSNM is in line with global and European climate goals that aim to achieve carbon neutrality in transport by 2050. This includes, among other things, the development of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and the new payment structure including investments in electrical and hybrid technologies, and improving operational efficiency for public access.
“We are pleased to welcome Embraer among the PSNM members. It is a dangerous partner with real potential to accelerate the flight of the aviation sector.” The aviation sector is currently about 2.5 % of CO₂ global emissions, and the number of travelers is expected to double by 2045, making carbon efforts to be impoverished. With Embraer, we want to support the implementation of SAF, and it takes care of the infrastructure in the field of dishes.
Embraer is one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world and a leading company in the regional aircraft category. The company is committed to developing sustainable aviation technologies through many research and development projects, including those under the Air Air sub -Eve, which focuses on electric vertical and landing aircraft (EVTOL).
“Based on the presence of Embraer, which is more than 25 years old in Poland, we enhance our obligations and our contributions to sustainable development through this partnership with PSNM. As a leading company in the field of manufacturing in aircraft, we are working on the development of modern technologies that aim to reduce the recognition of experiences in the field The first for sales and marketing in Europe and Central Asia in Embraer, the carbon removal efforts for Poland and Europe.
According to analyzes conducted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), by 2050, the aviation sector can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 65 % thanks to SAF, 13 % through new payment technologies, and the remaining part by improving operational efficiency and displacing displacement mechanisms. The main component will also be to combine flying with the new ecosystems system-including land transport solutions and digital travel planning solutions.
Embraer membership in PSNM opens new opportunities to cooperate with Polish institutions, technology companies and regional airports operators. The goal is to develop common solutions that support the growth of sustainable weather ties in Poland, Central and Eastern Europe.
