Ilyushin IL-76 was a fixed four engines designed by the Soviet Union Design Office as a commercial cargo ship in 1967 to replace Antonov An-12.
It was originally developed to provide a lot of equipment to remote areas that lack good quality ground facilities, which first fly in March 1971. IL-76 was able to carry a wide range of heavy goods, and thanks to the slope loading system, it is very little. Download equipment, therefore it was perfect for huge or heavy elements that cannot be transferred by air at the time.
The plane was imagined in 1967 to meet the need for a cargo ship capable of dealing with a load of 40 tons of up to 5,000 km in about six hours. The plane, which was built primarily for military purposes, was able to work from rough short aircraft darks, and can deal with harsh weather conditions such as found in Siberia and the Arctic.
It was the biggest defect, and the final death was as a commercial market, because it was very noisy and did not comply with the limits of international noise. Thanks to a large extent, it is able to carry heavy loads due to the bad landing conditions, it has become a popular transfer to emergency situations to provide humanitarian aid and disaster relief around the world.
Specialized models are later produced to combat fires. In the 1990s, the modern large variables, which were also equipped with Soloviev D-30 Turbofan engines, were developed, but only a few were built. After 2004, some IL76S was updated to IL-76TD-90VD-with a newly developed PS-90 engine that complied with European noise restrictions.
Over the course of the next decade, many improvements and modifications have been added, but the new aircraft developed by Boeing and Airbus are increasingly compatible with the strict regulations and the Older Workhorse cargo ship has disappeared from airports. The aircraft that were used to use for military firefighters are still in different regions of the world.
