
Oman Air Cargo Swissport was appointed as a new ground processor at Amsterdam Sheephol (AMS) and the Netherlands, where the first trip between Muscat (MCT) and the future of the Dutch capital yesterday, July 1, 2025.
The MCT-AAS trip, which will work four times a week, is part of the ongoing plans by the Omani Transport Company to expand roads to Europe.
The B787-9 trip, which ranged from 14 to 18 metric tons, was carrying medicines and engineering parts, as well as Couprress Cargo.
Oman Air Cargo will work on a 20,000 square meter SWISSPORT attachment, approved by CEIV at Station 11, AMS.
“Europe is an important market for us in terms of revenue and as a major center in the region, Amsterdam is an ideal addition to our expanding network,” said Claudius Pereira, the first manager of shipping operations, commercial operations in two years.

Oman Air guests celebrated the new airline in the business check zone at Muscat International Airport, and they continued to celebrate at the OneWorld in Amsterdam. Oman Air joined the coalition last month (June 2025).
Post Oman Air Cargo in Amsterdam lands with swissport, where the ground processor first appeared in the week of air cargo.
