More than 2,200 professionals in life sciences chain gathered in Lyon from April 8 to 10 to overcome Logipharma 2025, a leading conference in the world dedicated to the supply and logistical services series in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and technology sectors.
This year’s event was the largest in the history of Logipharma, with 180 shepherds, 150 exhibitors, and a business schedule full of strategic ads and launching products and expert panels that address the most challenges and urgent opportunities in global logistics services for health care.
One of the prominent ads in this event came from DB Schenker, which signed a partnership agreement with TOWT, a leader in the cargo shipping. Cooperation provides an unwanted shipping solution for healthcare products, using sailing boats, which are emitted by less than 1G of CO₂ per ton of kilometers. The Le Havre roads will include Guadeloupe, Brazil, and New York, where the operations begin early in July 2025. Each ship, capable of carrying 1100 tons, is equipped with specialized environmental controls to ensure safe transportation of unsensary medical commodities.
Cart Tower Elite-a comprehensive reusable charger, designed for large temperature-controlled charges. The solution supports 1600 liters of both the euro and the United States and was presented during a special inspection to the customer before it officially launched at the exhibition. Thanks to its light design and high capacity, the CCT Tower Elite aims to reshape the global temperature delicate charging efficiency.
DHL GROUP also occupied newspapers by announcing its acquisition of Cryopdp, a step that enhances the DHL position in healthy logistical services and expands its transportation capabilities that are controlled by the temperature through the life science sector.
“Logipharma is still the amazing platform for the supply chain community community to highlight the real innovation,” said Jake Brown, Logipharma Care Director, said. “This year, we have seen a clear shift – sustainability and AI are not just topics, they are priorities. It was interesting to see a lot of main ads and partnerships that are revealed here on the ground.”
Sustainability has remained an essential focus throughout the exhibition. The UK -based Woolcool company has highlighted its wool -based natural isolation technology, which was specially developed for the applications of the cold medicines and food chain.
Likewise, Pluumoplus, the symptom for the first time, has caused strong attention to its vital biological decomposition made of recycled feathers-a high-performance and plastic alternative to EPS foam. Its unique thermal conductivity design provides less and improving insulation with help reduce landfill waste.
On the stage, Pharma Giants CEO including Sanofi, Pfizer, Astrazneca, Abbott, GSK, Merck & Co. ELI Lilly, Bristol Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Novartis, Gilead Sciences Global Supply Series Strategy through digital lenses, Ai Dynamics, and Ai Formics.
Will Robinson, director of the Logipharma Conference, commented, “The collection of speakers for this year has collected some of the most influential minds in the logistical services of the drugs. Their view of the emerging technologies and the human side to lead the supply chain reflects the extent of speed-speed-industrial development. Energy and momentum throughout the event is incredible.”
Logipharma now puts its attention on Vienna, where the 2026 edition will be hosted in the Austria Center. Through brands that have been promoted, distinguished network areas and new experimental features – including HIIT category and supported car simulation – the next chapter is to build on a 2025 momentum and provide greater value for attendance.
